Teen Driver Education Combo — 30 Hours Classroom + 6 Hours Behind the Wheel

Help your teen build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a safe, responsible driver. Designed for students ages 14½ to under 18, this complete package includes 30 hours of in-person classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, meeting North Carolina’s teen driver education requirements.

Students learn traffic laws, road signs, safe driving habits, and essential driving skills through engaging classroom activities and guided driving experience. We provide the course materials, required driver education forms, and guidance to help families understand the steps toward obtaining a North Carolina limited learner permit.

Upon successful completion, students receive their Driver Education Certificate. Teens must be at least 15 years old and meet the remaining NCDMV documentation and testing requirements to obtain their permit.

Important Registration & Attendance Information

Your registration is your teen’s ticket to the specific class sessions you select. North Carolina requires completion of all 30 hours of classroom instruction as part of the teen driver education course.

For our program, students must attend every scheduled class, in sequence, for the full scheduled time within the session they registered for. Before purchasing, please review all class dates and times and confirm that your teen can attend every day and every hour. Full attendance is essential to completing the classroom requirement and moving forward in the driver education process.
